welcome to our home! the Bechiri family lives in the back half of the home, with their own kitchen and bathroom. the front half of the home holds three bedrooms, a second kitchen, second bathroom, living room/dining room, and sitting room. amenities for guests include:

the town
l'Artesania is situated on the central plaça of L'Albi, a tiny village of just over 700 people. the plaça, typically a peaceful view, also comes alive on Thursday mornings for the weekly market with fruits and vegetables, and occasional town events like the dinner pictured here.
the town includes three banks, two small grocery stores (one with a meat counter and produce), a bakery, a variety store, and two restaurants--everything you need for your stay. as well, we are available to drive you to a larger grocery store or art supply store, for example, if you are coming without a car yourself.
centrally located just off a freeway, with many unique sites to visit within a half hour in various directions and Barcelona just over an hour away, L'Albi provides a peaceful getaway with plenty to do all around it: the best of both worlds!

We've worked with local farmers to arrange access for our visitors to award-winning olive groves, almond orchards, fields and farms--ready for you to set up a plein air session of painting, drawing, writing--or even an art journaling workshop with your host, artist and writer holly Bechiri.
